Celebrating and Recognising the WA Peer Support Group Sector
Aligning with Support Groups Awareness Week, our bi-annual Gala event is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the WA peer support group sector and the thousands of volunteers sustaining it.
Attended by group leaders and their members, NGOs, and Government bodies, the event enables an often under-recognised sector to be acknowledged for its valuable contributions and to be showcased at a higher level, increasing potential for new partnerships, referrals, and funding opportunities.
This year’s event theme, Brighter Together, highlights the shared strength and vibrant diversity of peer support groups, celebrating the power of connection, empathy, and empowerment that arises when individuals come together and share experience.
Held in the Golden Ballroom at Pan Pacific Perth, this is a not-to-miss event! Tickets include pre-networking drinks, three-course meal, drinks package, awards ceremony, and live music entertainment.

The Awards celebrate and recognise WA Support Groups and individuals who have demonstrated excellence and positively impacted the community through their service delivery.
Winners and finalists will be showcased and celebrated at Alike WA’s 2025 Gala Event: Brighter Together, attended by 150+ sector representatives, NGOs, and Government representatives.
Nominations are now open across 11 Awards Categories and will close at the end of August, 2025. Self-nominations are welcome.
Alike WA is a not-for-profit organisation and your generous sponsorship supports us to deliver this event for the benefit of the peer support group sector and the wider community.
Event tickets are provided to peer support groups at a heavily discounted price to enable access for vulnerable community members. This means sponsorship is required to cover shortfall costs and ensure the event can proceed at full capacity.
We are pleased to offer several sponsorship opportunities, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
