Siblings Australia is the national organisation dedicated to supporting the brothers and sisters of people with disability or chronic illness. Siblings carry more than most people realise. They're often the invisible ones in the family, quietly holding things together while balancing their own hopes, challenges and responsibilities.
We recognise the lifelong role siblings play, and our work is focused on strengthening sibling wellbeing, building their capacity, and supporting them to navigate life alongside their brother or sister with disability or chronic illness, while ensuring they feel seen, supported and connected throughout their lives.
Through our evidence-informed programs, peer support, counselling and resources, we empower siblings with the knowledge, skills and connections they need to thrive. Delivered both online and in person, our services ensure the more than 5 million siblings across Australia can access meaningful support, wherever they live.
