Albany Pride is a local group offering peer networking and support for people in Albany who identify as LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, genderqueer, questioning, same sex attracted), their families and friends, young and old, locals and visitors. We aim to provide a voice for LGBTIQ+ people in the Great Southern and foster local support, acceptance and celebration of minority sexualities and gender identities in our community. Albany Pride is the only acknowledged local service, support or network for LGBTIQ people.
Alike WA acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Western Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We further acknowledge the traditional carers of the land upon which our office stands, the Whadjuk Noongar people, and pay our respect to them and their cultures; and to Elders past, present, and emerging.

We acknowledge the individual and collective contributions of those with a lived and living experience that is shared with Alike and in respective support groups. We acknowledge that we can only support healthy and connected communities by supporting those with lived experience.
