Finding the right mental health support can sometimes be difficult, particularly when you are trying to work out which service is appropriate for your situation or for someone you are supporting.
The WA Equal Opportunity Commission has developed a handy Mental Health Resources in Western Australia guide, bringing together contact details for a range of free support services and service directories.
The guide includes mental health and crisis support, family and domestic violence services, support specifically for young people, and directories that can help people find additional services across WA.
For peer support group leaders, it may also be a useful resource to keep on hand when someone in your group needs support beyond what the group can provide.
